Welcome Arkadians, to our fifth Dev Blog, this time we are going to give an explanation about the equipment in the Arkadia's world.
The equipment is a set of NFTs that you can create, buy and trade, which have the function of being part of your team and get unique stats for the battle.
Each object will have a rarity level within the game. NFTs will have a rarity, which will define the maximum characteristics to reach. These rarities are:
Equipment progress will be made by obtaining minerals, which you can use to develop the NFT you wish to upgrade in development level.
Depending on the rarity of the equipment, there will be a development level limit, which is as follows:
Within the characteristics of the NFTs are present special attributes that are linked to the object when creating it, to give a touch of advantage (or disadvantage) to the player, these attributes will be available as spaces within the equipment depending on the rarity of it, which are the following:
Additionally, you will be able to increase your attribute slots by 1, by doing specific in-game quests for each rarity and type of NFT!
To find out which attributes will be able to be linked to the object, we present below the existing ones up to the date of publication of this article:
- High density or Low density (+/- Durability): Extra durability of use granted to the object, if it is high density it will have 30% more durability, if it is low density it will have 30% less durability.
Note: (If the item's durability expires it will lose 50% of its power until it is restored).
- Light or Heavy (+/- Evasion): Probability of evading attacks.
- Hard Fiber or Soft Fiber (+/- Defense): Extra or negative defense of the object.
- Smooth Surface or Rough Surface (+/- Fabrication Hab.): Speed or slowness of object fabrication.
- High Elasticity or Low Elasticity (+/- Hab. Collecting): Speed or slowness of object collecting.
- High Friction or Low Friction (+/- Knockout Resistance): Chance of resisting a knockout from enemies.
- Thin (+ Heat Resistance): Resistance to heat-related attacks or conditions.
- Perspiration (+ Wind Resistance): Resistance to wind-related attacks or conditions.
- Good Breathability (+ Moisture Resistance): Resistance to attacks or states related to moisture.
- Spongy (+ Cold Resistance): Resistance to attacks or states related to cold.
- Light or Heavy (+/- Accuracy): Probability of hitting a target.
- Compact Structure or Fragile Structure (+/- Lethality or Critical): Probability of hitting a critical hit.
- High Density or Low Density (+/- Durability of the object): Extra durability of use given to the object, if it is of high density it will have 30% more durability, if it is of low density it will have 30% less durability.
Note: if the object's durability expires it will lose 50% of its power until it is restored.
- Full or Empty (+/- Stun Chance): Chance to stun enemies.
- Sharp or Round Section (+/- Wound damage or exsanguination): Probability of opening wounds to enemies.
- Pointed or Blunt (+/- Weapon Penetration): Chance of weapon penetration power to enemies.
- Life Steal: Life steals by attacking enemies.
- Energy drain: Energy drain per attack on enemies.
- Magic Affinities (Probability of element attack): Probability of acquiring an element affinity in the weapon.
- Magic Defenses (Elemental Defense Probability): Probability of acquiring an elemental defense in the weapon.
The item will be created with the ore at your disposal (from copper to ruby), with a cost that will be announced another time.
When an item is created and upgraded, you will have a 50% chance of having a positive or negative attribute attached to each space.

Q = What is the meaning of creating items?
A = Creating weapons and armor is necessary to equip your character to have access to the MMORPG, you can also trade them to other people.
Q = Can I sell the objects?
A = Yes, there will be a marketplace where you will be able to sell the objects you want and you will also be able to buy them from other people.
Q = Can I save/stack the created items?
A = Yes, you will be able to create and save from armor to weapons and shields.
Q = Will the items have base attributes?
A = Yes, all equipment items will have base attributes.
Q = What attributes bind to the objects I create, is it totally random or will there be some initial attribute that will have a high probability to bind to the object?
A = When you create an NFT equipment for the first time, you add 2 attributes related to attack or defense power or weakness, in addition to its base attributes.
Q = Will the attributes linked to the objects be positive properties?
A = No, you will have a 50% chance that the attribute will be positive or negative, except for predefined attributes with only one result.
Q = How can I have better attributes linked to objects?
A = By having objects of higher rarity, as these will have a higher attribute percentage due to their higher difficulty to obtain.
Q = Can I change the attributes attached to the objects in any way?
A = No, you cannot change the attributes attached to objects in any way.
Q = Can I improve the attributes attached to the objects?
A = No, there will be no way to improve the attributes of the objects.
Q = Can I somehow destroy the objects if I don't like the result of the creation?
A = Yes, there will be a way to destroy the object if the result is not as expected by the player.
Q = If I break the objects, do I get back part of the materials that were used?
A = Yes, you will get 70% of the used materials excluding the used ARK.
